Quick Start

This guide explains the basic BTC Karma user flow.

Step 1: Visit BTC Karma​

Go to the official BTC Karma staking portal:

https://staking.btckarma.io

Always make sure you are using the correct website before connecting any wallet.

Step 2: Connect Your Bitcoin Wallet​

Connect the Bitcoin wallet associated with the BTC you want to use for staking participation.

BTC Karma uses Bitcoin wallet verification to confirm ownership and authorize staking actions without asking for seed phrases or private keys.

Step 3: Verify Your Reward Destination​

BTC Karma rewards are connected to a verified reward destination.

During setup, you may be asked to verify a Cardano wallet or reward address. This allows BTC Karma to associate your Bitcoin staking activity with your reward account.

Step 4: Create a BTC Staking Position​

After your wallets are connected, follow the staking flow to create your BTC staking position.

The platform will guide you through the required steps.

Step 5: Track Your Position​

Once your staking account is active, you can track:

  • Your BTC staking position
  • Your estimated KARMA rewards
  • Your Enlightenment Level
  • Your leaderboard status (coming soon)
  • Your reward history

Your KARMA rewards may depend on your Bitcoin staking activity, your Enlightenment Level, and the protocol's active emissions rules.

Step 6: Review Your Rewards Page​

Your Rewards page shows your current KARMA rewards, current Enlightenment Level, and the amount of KARMA needed to reach higher levels.

Use Raise Level of Enlightenment to view your path to the next tier. Buying KARMA through the BTC Karma staking platform is optional, but it can help users raise their Enlightenment Level faster.

Step 7: Claim Rewards​

When rewards are available, you will be able to claim KARMA through the BTC Karma app.

Reward timing, claim availability, and emissions may vary based on the active reward period.

Step 8: Track Enlightenment Level​

As you participate in BTC Karma over time, your account may progress through Enlightenment Levels.

Higher levels may improve KARMA reward potential during Phase 1 and may improve access to future limited-capacity Bitcoin yield opportunities.

Before staking, make sure:

  • You are on the official BTC Karma website
  • You understand how the staking flow works
  • You are using wallets you control
  • You understand that crypto rewards are not guaranteed
  • You understand that token values can change
  • You never share seed phrases or private keys
